Horses, cowboys, sheep... oh my!

We took the kids to their first rodeo a few weeks ago and they loved it! And yes, we are ALL wearing plaid. Didn't realize that until we were in the car on our way :)

Loserville

Well, if you haven't guessed by now... LSU lost the Nat'l Championship game back in January. They were run in to the ground. It was bad. very. very. bad.

AND to top it all off, we didn't win the Mega Millions Lottery on Friday. What I could have done with $640,000,000... (sigh).

Total Fail

Ok, so the furthest I got was updating the family picture and playing with the "main" blog picture (it's a really old one of little man, but it makes me smile, so I added it temporarily). I really did sit down to work on the blog yesterday afternoon, but that's when I realized that ALL of the pictures from the last 3-4 months are still on the camera (darn digital era!). Blair has shown me how to download pictures a 1,000 times, but unless I do something on a regular basis, the knowledge only lasts for about 72 hours (if that). I wasn't about to pull my hubby away from his football to show me how to do it for the 1,001 time. Sorry, I failed miserably. Will try again next weekend.

Hola

So… I realize that no one probably checks this blog for updates anymore. I take full responsibility for the lack of posts ~ I’m lazy. The last thing I want to do after Landry goes to bed is to get on the computer, but I started this blog and really want to keep it going. It’s the only form of scrapbooking I have!

There’s so much going on right now… Landry is about to turn 2 (I just can’t believe it), is talking up a storm and is starting to potty train! Ireland is in 4th grade and is a cheerleader! I’m going to work on a summer recap over the weekend, so by Monday morning there will be pictures/stories capturing the last 4 months. Hopefully it won’t be too overwhelming… for you or me :)

Check back on Monday!

No Rehab Required

We have been a paci-free household for exactly 1 month. Landry went "cold turkey" (he's hard core like that) and handled what could have been quite a traumatic experience extremely well! We are very proud of our little guy. He's getting to be such a big boy. sniff. sniff.
