Girls' Trip!!!

Last Thursday I left my husband with a house full of painters and their radios blasting tejano music, two crazy dogs and a 7-year old to enjoy a long weekend in Phoenix with Sarah & Katie (I have such a wonderful husband).

Katie flew in from Amarillo and met me at DFW so that we could fly together to AZ. After what seemed like a 15 minute plane trip, we landed in the desert. Sarah eventually found us... and whisked us away to Pizzeria Bianco. For those of you that haven't ever heard of this little pizza joint, Oprah featured it on her show as one of the best 10 pizza places in the U.S. Needless to say, there is quite a wait for a table... our 2.5 hour wait was well worth it though and I have to say it really was some of the best pizza I have ever had!!!

We spent the weekend talking, eating, shopping, & lounging in the pool enjoying the cold front that came in (I don't think the temperature ever reached above 104 while we were there). It was a Perfect weekend with Perfect friends! It just makes me sad that we don't live closer and can only get together once or twice a year, if we're lucky.

Just Pitiful

I remember it well. My dad threatening to pull my loose tooth if I didn't muster up the courage to do it myself. I guess all dads are the same, because after 15 minutes of Blair trying to coax Ireland to pull her loose tooth (before he did it for her), she finally found her courage and yanked out her second top tooth! She made sure to let us know she wasn't happy about it though, at least until she remembered that the tooth fairy would be making an appearance later that night...

Inaugural Blog

Thanks to Shanna, we are up and running! We hope this blog helps keep family and friends updated on what is going on in our world. We will try not to be too boring, but don't hold it against us if we are at times. With baby on the way, we thought this would be a good time to join the blogging masses. More to come...
